Updated:IKEA Calcot planning application - amended plans received

Additional/amended drawings & plans have been submitted by IKEA.

The main changes include –
  • Internal alterations to the layout of the proposed car park
  • Widening of Pincents Lane
  • Introduction of a ‘safe route’ for horses and riders to the front of the store
  • Amendments to show changes to the westbound off-slip splitter island at J12 & the widening of Pincents Lane

Update: 13th March:

There will be a site visit by the Eastern Area Planning Committee on 15th March. It is scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m. but may be delayed by visit to other sites. The meeting will start in the Homebase car park. Members of the public may attend but can only speak when invited.

The planning application is scheduled to be decided by a special meeting of the Eastern Area Planning Committee on 4th April. The meeting will start at 18:30 p.m. but the venue has not yet been decided.
