Two new modular classrooms being installed at Theale Primary School today

Two new modular classrooms are being installed at Theale Primary School. Installation was scheduled to be completed today but is running late (one classroom had not even been delivered when I checked at 5 p.m.)

The classrooms are to enable the school's intake to be increased from 30 to 45 pupils per year. This will ensure that all Theale children who are starting school can attend the school.

The project has been started rather late by West Berkshire Council so the classrooms will not be usable at the start of term. Children will have to be accommodated in non-teaching rooms for a few weeks.
