Suspicious tradesmen knocking on doors in #Theale

I have received an email from a resident of Blossom Lane saying a man knocked on her door saying her gable end needed fixing. She was suspicious and politely refused.

Reputable tradesmen do not normally need to go touting for business.

Please do not give business to people like this. You do not know how skilled they are and whether they will charge a  reasonable rate. You do not know whether the work actually needs doing.
