Graffiti cleaned off #Theale Church, then it was graffitied again

The graffiti in the archway under the tower of Holy Trinity Church was cleaned off, and the walls painted, on Friday. More graffiti was then written on the newly painted walls on Friday afternoon:

If you saw anyone acting suspiciously around the church at that time, please inform the police on 101.

Councillor for Theale

  1. This is simply mindless and wilful damage to an historic building and is particularly disappointing following the expense of the cleaning and repair. That some people feel that these actions are ‘cool’ or ‘brave’ or even clever, is regrettable. At best it is vandalism, at worst it is criminal damage and the police will hopefully, follow-up.

    1. One of the perpetrators has been identified and taken by his mum to apologise to the vicar. The police seem to be getting more interested
